Topics of Research
- 1 Research on Education and Family
- She examines the relationship between education and family life using data from the Japanese Longitudinal Study of Children and Parents (JLSCP). She focuses on everyday parent–child interactions, particularly children’s involvement in housework, as well as the development of gender norms.
- 2 Research on the Socialization of Housework
- She explores how people, especially children, learn household tasks through their experiences at home.
